Spring Clean Yor Skin For Spring

With the switch over to daylight savings it feels like spring could very defiantly be upon us and it's time to get our limbs ready to be on show. Massage is a great way to detoxify your system.
Pick up a body brush and get dry brushing. Every day before getting in the shower, this will help remove dead skin cell build up and allow pores to breathe. Always brush towards the heart and cover your whole body. Follow with a moisturiser applied in circular movements to stimulate blood and lymph circulation which is responsible for removing waste and detoxification.
At the moment I am using the Palmer's Natural Bronze which is lovely for giving skin a bit of colour. It is a great gradual tanner and perfect for this time of year when skin is at its palest.

For the face it all about brightening and refreshing the skin. Coming out of winter skin always looks dull, dry and lack lusture. As with the body, massage is key for improving appearance of skin so spend a good 3-4 minutes every day massaging your cleanser into your skin. Up your weekly exfoliation to 2-3 times per week and follow with a mask. MD Formulations Vit A Plus Illuminating Mask is great for evening out skin tone and lightening pigmentation. Lastly to protect your skin from further damage over the summer months, now is the time to get into the routine of using a good antioxidant and SPF. SkinCeuticals are famous for these products. Right now I'm using their Phloretin CF and Brightening UV Defence SPF 30 Both these products a great for evening out skin tone and protecting your skin from UV damage and the photo-ageing that goes along with that.

What are you doing to prep your skin for the coming warmer months?
