Puffiness under the eyes is often associated with thyroid and kidney problems, but it can also be down to lack of sleep, water retention and excess alcohol. Use cooling, soothing products and lymph drainage to help de-congest the area.
A cooling eye gel in the morning, applied by pressing around the orbital bone using your ring fingers will help de-congest. For a really cooling treatment keep your eye gels in the fridge overnight. Look for products containing caffeine, vitamin E and aloe. Reduce your salt intake and make sure to get enough sleep.
